}Appearance{
Ashe has short sandy- to strawberry-blonde hair that comes to just above her shoulders. A large black collar covers most of her neck, shoulders, and back, coming to a point on her chest where it meets her shirt with a few large gemstones. Her shirt is strapless and a rosey-white in color. Gold armor adorns her shoulders, elbows, and wrists. A black piece of leather covers her stomach just above her blue belt and short bright pink belt skort. Her boots are extremely complicated, the armor of which is gold and black and covers just below her knees to just below her skort. Light blue cone armor spreads out from just below her knee to mid-calf. Dark red armor covers the backs and sides of her legs under the blue cones and pink cloth covers the rest of her skin. Her shoes are golden armor that make running easy.

Ashe comes off looking temperamental and judgmental and can often seem as such. The air about her often self-centered or pensive, as she does a lot of inner thinking. She's a kind soul, though, and once she opens up, it's easier for her to show that.

}History{
Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca was born the crown princess of the country bearing her last name. At the age of 17, she was married to Prince Rasler of Nabradia and life was seemingly perfect and peaceful. This was utterly destroyed not long after the wedding when Arcadia began invading places. Nabradia was taken and Prince Rasler went to war to help his homeland. His body made its return after his death and Ashe wasn't the same after. Dalmasca fell to Arcadia shortly after. Ashe's uncle announced her death by suicide and the princess went into hiding.

Two years later, consul Vayne, the new ruler of Dalmasca was thrown a feast to celebrate his new appointment as consul. The Arcadian Resistance planned an attack on the feast, hoping to either overthrow Vayne or at least disrupt his dinner. What they hadn't planned on was that Vayne's guards had fully expected the assault and were more than ready to counter it. During the mess, she runs into Vaan, Fran, and Balthier for a very short amount of time before everyone is captured.

Ashe is sent to the airship Leviathan, where she's held as a prisoner. She's kept there until Fran, Balthier, and Vaan find her aboard the ship and bust her out. They're all reunited with Penelo and manage to escape the ship, heading for Bhujerba, where they speak with Ondore, Ashe's uncle. The first vision of Rasler, Ashe's deceased husband, sends her to the Tomb of Raithwall, where a nethicite stone is said to reside and be able to prove her lineage. They capture the stone and are promptly captured by the Leviathan once more. Judge Ghis takes the stone and tests it to be sure it is true deifacted nethicite. This act eventually blows up the Leviathan and an entire fleet of airships. Ashe and co. barely escape with their lives.

Ashe seeks out the Garif in the village of Jahara on the Ozmone Plain to find out if they can tell her anything bout the nethicite. Her quest is fruitless, but that night, Larsa convinces her to seek out the Gran Kilitas Anastasis on sacred Mt. Bur-Omusace. Ashe is greeted with another vision of Rasler and she agrees to go.

Once there, they speak with Larsa and Prince Al-Cid Margrace of Rozarria, discussing a plan to announce Ashe as queen of Dalmasca with the grace of the Gran Kiltias. The suggestion is made that Ashe retrieve the Sword of Kings from the Stilshrine of Miriam. The sword was said to cut through nethicite and might be of good use to Ashe. Whent he group returns with the sword, they are greeted with the sight of the Gran Kilitias' death, and news that the Emperor of Arcades was killed.

The group decides to go seek out Arcadia's Draklor Laboratory, where manufacted nethice was born. There they meet up with Dr. Cid. He leaves a few clues to suggest that he is headed for Giruvegan, the supposed location of the Sun-Cryst, the source of deifacted nethicite. Ashe alone is allowed into the top of the crystal of Giruvegan, where she speaks with the Occuria, the gods of Ivalice. They tell her that she is to do what Dynast-King Raithwall did so long ago: cut nethicite from the Sun-Cryst and use it to bring balance to the world.

Ashe leaves with a sense of confusion as she tells the others that they are heading for the Pharos at Ridorana, where the real Sun-Cryst resides. When she first finds herself in Circadia, she's just past Giruvegan.

}Psychology{
Ashe is a sweet and caring person, but that side of her is often shoved aside, particularly when her country or her friends are in trouble. She's extremely protective and very good at defending things, both in words and deed. Being the heir to the throne has given her insight into being royalty, but when her father was killed and her country taken over, she knew she had to do something. She's not the sit back and wait type and she won't let anyone make a decision for her. Compounding this is her inability to cope with weakness in anyone, particularly in herself. She knows she has to be strong for her country and for the rebellion, and so she subconsciously holds everyone she meets to those same standards. Deserters are not treated with kindness in her book. She's also extremely serious and finds it hard to ask for help about anything, preferring to do it herself when possible.
